Paslode RounDrive™ nails, clip head nails (D-head), concentric full head nails and staples are accepted by the City of Los Angeles per Research Report RR 23633, subject to the conditions of that report.
Paslode Positive Placement® metal connector nails are ICBO ES recognized per ESR-2126 and City of Los Angeles accepted per Research Report RR 25259. See each specific report for allowable values and/or conditions of use concerning material or services presented in the documents.
Paslode staples and nails are manufactured from materials and to tolerances in compliance with ASTM Designation F 1667, “Standard Specification for Driven Fasteners: Nail, Spikes and Staples”. Paslode nails conform to the Supplementary Requirements of ASTM F1667 and can be classified and labeled as “Engineered Construction Nails, ASTM 1667”.
Paslode hot dipped galvanized corrosion resistant fasteners are zinc coated and comply with ASTM F1667. Paslode hot dipped galvanized nails meet zinc coating weight requirements of ASTM A153 Class D.
Paslode mechanically galvanized nails are zinc coated and conform to ASTM Specification B695 Class 55 Type 1. ASTM B695 Class 55 provides equivalency to the coating weight of ASTM A153 Class D. “Standard Specification for Zinc Coating (Hot Dip) on Iron and Steel Hardware” and exceeds the zinc coating weight of ASTM A641 Class1, Standard Specification for Zinc-Coated (Galvanized) Steel Wire.
